Help page 5 - F files.

Introduction.
"F" flies are the standard text files asociated with all talker users, you can use F files to find out more about a particular person. You can also set up what information other people can find out about you by editing your F file. "Examine" also produces the same file.


Examples.
Finding things out about people is easy if they have added information to their "F" file. If Sabrina wanted to find out more about Amy then she would just type f Amy. Amy's F file would then be printed on Sabrina's screen.

Amy can add information to her F file by using irl Amy to set her in real life name as Amy, age 15 to set her age to 15 and birthday 05/07/1984 to set her birthday as the 5th of July, born in 1984. There are many more commands listed in the table below.

NOTE: You can get a full list of these commands by typing c custom when on the talker.

Displays the f file of the person given in name (f me for yourself).
rlname string irl string Sets the text given in string as your real life name in your f file.
age string None Sets the text given in string as your age in your f file.
birthday string None Sets the text given in string as your birthday in your f file, enter in the form dd/mm/yyyy.
gender string None Sets the text given in string as your gender enter m for male or f for female.
rlloc string None Sets the text given in string as your real life location in your f file.
plan string None Sets the text given in string as your plan in your f file.
back string None Sets the text given in string as the current state of your back in your f file (like plan).
amiga string None Toggles amiga ownership on/off string should be entered as yes or no.
back string None Sets the text given in string as the current state of your back in your f file (like plan).
